7-Day Botswana Safari: Linyanti Star Suites & Khwai Exploration

Day 1: Arrival in Linyanti Expeditions

Your safari begins with a scenic scheduled fixed-wing flight from Maun Airport (MUB) to the Linyanti Airstrip. Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by your guide for a game drive transfer to Linyanti Expeditions. Nestled in a remote corner of northern Botswana, this intimate camp offers a truly off-the-grid experience.

Settle into your luxurious tent and unwind with views over the Linyanti wetlands before enjoying your first evening game drive, followed by dinner under the African sky.

Day 2–3: Linyanti Magic & Star Suite Sleep-Out

Spend your days exploring the pristine Linyanti Concession on twice-daily safari activities including game drives and guided walking safaris. This region is famous for its large herds of elephants, predators like lions and wild dogs, and prolific birdlife.

One of the highlights of your stay is the unforgettable Star Suite experience, where your tent extends into a mesh-enclosed sleep-out deck, allowing you to fall asleep safely beneath a shimmering canopy of stars. Day 4: Journey to Khwai Lediba

After breakfast and a final morning activity in Linyanti, you’ll be transferred by game drive to the airstrip for your scheduled flight to Khwai Airstrip. A short drive brings you to Khwai Lediba, a beautifully appointed camp located on the banks of the Khwai River, bordering the Moremi Wildlife Reserve.

This area is renowned for its wildlife density and diverse habitats. Settle into your new camp and enjoy an afternoon safari, followed by dinner with views of the waterhole.

Day 5–6: Exploring Khwai & Moremi

Enjoy two full days of thrilling safari activities in the Khwai region. Choose from game drives in search of predators and plains game, serene mokoro safaris (traditional dugout canoe rides), and guided bush walks that bring you closer to the natural rhythms of the wilderness.

The area is especially rich in sightings of leopards, elephants, buffalo, and the elusive African wild dog. Back at camp, unwind with all-inclusive hospitality, breathtaking views, and the warm camaraderie of the safari team.

Day 7: Departure

After your final morning game drive and breakfast, you’ll be transferred by road back to the Khwai Airstrip.
